The finals of the Jive Masters will be held on Saturday 20th September at one of the biggest dance halls in London, The Walthamstow Assembly Hall, adjacent to the Town Hall. This is the same venue as was used for the "Masked Ball of the East", which this year was the biggest freestyle event ever held in Ceroc.

It is hard to believe, but the final of this amazing competition is drawing near. For those of you who have not been near earth for the past few months, the Jive Masters is an invitation only competition. The competitors are all professionals, competition winners, teachers or just invited because they are great dancers.

Each month four couples have competed. The audience are the only judges. The winners and runners up go through to the finals.

The standard has been like no other competition ever held and the final promises to be the greatest display of Modern Jive ever. The audience will also be judging the finals. The evening starts at 8pm and ends at 1am. Unlike most competitions, there will be heaps of freestyle, we are aiming for a full three hours.

The venue, well where else could it be other than the Walthamstow Town Hall. Anyone who has been to the "Masked Ball of the East" will know what an amazing venue this is.

Anyone can be a judge, you will just have to turn up to register at the venue by 8.30pm. There is no limit on the number of judges, just the time you register.

There is a prize for the judge who selects the most number of winners and placed couples over the heats: a lifetime's Free entry to all CerocMetro events. But to make it fair, there will also be the same prize for a judge on the night who gets the top three places. I am sure there will be more than one so there will be a draw.
